Euroglam at The Vegan Fashion Show 2025: Cork Takes the Runway

In November 2025, Euroglam had the pleasure of taking part in The Vegan Fashion Show in Toronto, presented in partnership with the National Women’s Show.

For us, it was more than an opportunity to showcase our collection. It was a celebration of what Euroglam stands for: thoughtful design, natural materials, Portuguese heritage, and a more conscious approach to fashion.

Bringing Cork to the Runway

On Friday, November 21, Euroglam’s cork accessories made their way onto the main stage alongside other brands helping to demonstrate that style and more responsible material choices can go hand in hand.

The Vegan Fashion Show brings together designers and brands exploring animal-free fashion, traditional craftsmanship, plant-based materials, and innovative alternatives. Seeing our cork pieces become part of that conversation was a particularly meaningful moment for Euroglam.

Cork has always been at the heart of our brand.

Harvested from the bark of the cork oak tree, cork can be collected without cutting the tree down. The bark naturally regenerates, making cork a renewable material with a long tradition in Portugal.

For Euroglam, however, sustainability is only part of its appeal.

Cork is lightweight, durable, distinctive, and naturally beautiful. Every surface carries its own texture and character, allowing us to create accessories that feel sophisticated while remaining closely connected to nature.

From Portugal to Canada

Euroglam has always been deeply connected to Portugal.

Our collection celebrates a material that has been part of Portuguese culture and craftsmanship for generations, while introducing it to customers in Canada in a contemporary and fashionable way.

Watching our cork bags and accessories carried down a Toronto runway was therefore a special moment — a meeting of our Portuguese roots with the Canadian community that has helped Euroglam grow.

It also gave us the opportunity to show cork in a different setting.

Rather than thinking of sustainable materials as a compromise, the runway demonstrated how cork can become part of an elegant, modern wardrobe.

Fashion Can Start a Conversation

One of the things we appreciated most about The Vegan Fashion Show was its focus on education as well as fashion.

The event highlights designers, materials and ideas that encourage people to think differently about what they wear and where it comes from.

For Euroglam, that conversation is incredibly important.

We want people to discover cork not simply because it is an alternative material, but because it is beautiful in its own right.

Its texture, versatility and connection to the natural world give every Euroglam piece a character that cannot be replicated by mass-produced materials.

A Memorable Moment for Euroglam

Participating in The Vegan Fashion Show 2025 was an exciting milestone for our brand.

Seeing our designs styled for the runway, carried by models and presented to a new audience reminded us why we began this journey in the first place: to show that fashion can be elegant, distinctive and inspired by nature at the same time.

We are grateful to The Vegan Fashion Show, the National Women’s Show, the models, organizers, photographers and everyone who came to experience the show and learn more about the brands involved.

The runway may have lasted only a few minutes, but for us, it represented years of passion for cork, craftsmanship and thoughtful fashion.
